The Ambrosia Bakery: Baton Rouge's Premier Bakery and Desserts Destination

Great first time coming here after hearing about this bakery for years and years. Tons to choose from. Cake slices, cake squares, cheese cake bites, donuts, apple fritters, cookies, brownies, turtles, gluten free options, etc etc. Staff were all VERY patient and kind. We came in one hour before closing and were not rushed whatsoever. Can’t believe I visit here sooner after living in Baton Rouge for 20 years!

Absolutely everything looked good in here. They were not able to do my email order, but accommodated me by showing me another delicious looking cake and accepting my military discount. And also writing the most beautiful Happy Birthday message on my son's surprise Birthday cake and being so sweet and apologetic.

Me and my boyfriend celebrated our 1 year anniversary and wanted a delicious Strawberry shortcake. We ordered one from Ambrosia and it was super fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. This was the best cake we ever tasted and it looks super cute too!

The staff was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. As someone who doesn’t know much about cakes, I really appreciated how they guided me in the right direction to make the celebration special. We ordered from Ambrosia for a work baby shower. There was a miscommunication in reference to the date that I needed the items (which could possibly have been on my end), and when I got there, my order was not ready. I needed enough to feed approximately 60 people in an hour. Lynette, Chi, Josh, and Caleb bent over backward to get me sugar-free items, cake, cake squares, and whatever I needed to make the shower a success. Their attitudes were upbeat and positive, and their goal was truly to serve the customer any way possible. This is a rare quality to find in the service industry nowadays. I truly appreciate the effort they took to make the shower a huge success and will recommend them to everyone!!!!

Our go to king cake bakery! Every year we order the fresh strawberry king cake and it never disappoints. Tried the Zulu cake for the first time this year, it was okay, the frosting was extremely sugary. Doesn’t hold a candle to the strawberry.
